Tapemixer is a music video search engine and playlist compiler. Users enter an artist, song or Last.fm name and free music videos are retrieved from websites such as YouTube. Tapemixer lets users easily watch and listen to music videos through the integrated player in the interface. Tapemixer provides effective music video search for artists, songs and albums. Using the ’similar song’ and ’similar artist’ feature from Last.fm it is easy to discover related music.
All music clips found can easily be added to a playlist, which is dragable and dropable. Created playlists can be saved, retrieved, shared and searched.
Other features include one-click song text, band photography, upcoming events, buy songs from iTunes and background information from Wikipedia.
